Want to catch some fresh air? Musée by Moonlight knows no bounds! Program attendees are invited to wander the Musée estate and explore our marvelous historic landscape. Walk upon the winding paths and rolling hills behind the museum and grace past wildflowers, billowing fields and trees, and catch stunning views of Mount Marcell and the Saint John Valley. Also wander to the Prairie de la Sagesse, a charming glade located near the old parish barn perfect for leisurely relaxation — especially picnicking, sunset-watching, book reading, and stargazing. Grab one of our estate maps and chart your own outdoor path!
Looking to elevate your night? Come see the Musée in an entirely new light! Art After Dark: Musée by Moonlight is a community-centered initiative blending art, culture, and nightlife to create special experiences and unexpected moments that bring us together and strengthen our bonds.
The program series a free and diverse spectacle, family-friendly, and open to everyone. It is the perfect excuse to stay up late, dress up, and make the museum your own — a perfectly splendid occasion for a weekend evening out!

Midnight Mystique
Art After Dark: Musée by Moonlight will commence for its first and only session for our 2026 Opening Season on the night before Halloween, October 30th!

Spooky season has arrived in the Valley, and the Musée is turning into a fa-boo-lous sight goblins and ghouls of all ages will love!
Join us for a spellbinding night where shadows dance, history stirs, and unforgettable memories await in a sensationally spooky setting! For the first time in decades, the Musée is dimming the lights and opening the doors for an immersive after-hours experience. Wander through its candlelit aisles, hear whispers echo upon shadow-draped walls, and catch eerie surprises at every corner!
Make the museum one of your many stops along your family’s trick-or-treating escapades, or part of your horror-film-filled Halloweekend! Come enjoy a spooktacular evening filled with fang-tastic treats and activities, including:
- Candlelit tours of Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel
- Bone-chilling orchestral symphonies and ominous piano notes haunting the vaults
- No tricks, just treats!
- A special lecture spotlighting an uncanny moment in Acadian history
